Solid Paint

The painted kitchen cabinet finish is the most common and simplest finish.  This transformation provides a clean, modern appearance that will update just about any kitchen.  You can choose from a wide range of colors.  The finish is either a satin or semi gloss oil enamel, and is the same quality of finish as if you bought brand new kitchen cabinets from a big box store.

Glazing

Kitchen cabinet glazing is a way to lightly antique them by mixing glaze with the same color of paint or stain as the cabinets. This is achieved by rubbing the glaze and paint or stain solution on the cabinet.  Our glazing technique create a translucent finish over the existing paint or stain. As a result, the glaze showcases and features the details of the cabinets.

Pinstriping

“Pinstriping” is similar to the glazed look however all the edges and corners are typically stained darker.

Stained

Stained kitchen cabinets highlight the woods natural grain and provides the most durable and non maintenance solution.  Based on the style and type of wood your kitchen cabinets are, the amount of grain will vary.

Distressed

The distressed finish provides a weathered look.  This is a very popular finish among south Florida homeowners, considering the amount of “beach homes” this is surely a go to kitchen cabinet finish.  When our clients seek an aged, rustic, or driftwood look on their cabinets, this is what we suggest.  This particular finish includes sanding through the selected finish randomly here and there along on the edges indents, and then applying multiple coats of clear lacquer for protection and durability.
